Commissioning Lead - UK, Surrey - 12 Month Contract

We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Lead for a fantastic 12 month contract based in Surrey.

You will be working with our client who are a global biopharmaceutical organisation committed to improving the lives of people afflicted with neurological and immunological disease.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and own the Commissioning Strategy, Commissioning Plan, and Master Commissioning Schedule.
• Lead commissioning meetings and workshops with contractors, design teams, and stakeholders.
• Ensure commissioning documentation is produced, reviewed, and approved.
• Ensure commissioning activities are executed safely, with appropriate risk assessments and method statements.
• Support training programmes for operational staff, ensuring knowledge transfer.

What you’ll  need:

• Proven experience as a Commissioning Lead/Manager on complex construction projects.
• Experience delivering commissioning for laboratories, R&D facilities, or highly serviced technical environments.
• Strong understanding of building systems, MEP design, automation controls, and specialist lab systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and commissioning protocols.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence across multiple stakeholders.
