SAP MRP Business Analyst - US, Seattle - Contract

Our client, a global biotechnology organisation, is recruiting for a SAP MRP Business Analyst to join their capital project in Seattle. This new build facility will house a therapeutic protein production plant, and we are looking for a SAP MRP Business Analyst to help expand our client's biotech operations throughout Europe. As the SAP MRP Business Analyst you will be responsible for implementing all safety requirements for a new build facility, estimated at approximately 14,900m2.

What you’ll do:
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with manufacturing, supply chain, QA, and IT stakeholders to define future-state MRP processes
  • Analyze current-state MRP configurations and identify gaps; develop options analyses with trade-offs, effort estimates, and recommendations
  • Have knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MRP parameters (lot sizing, planning horizons, safety stock, scheduling margins) aligned to GxP constraints
  • Partner with technical team to integrate MRP with adjacent SAP modules (MM, PP, WM/EWM, QM) and third-party manufacturing execution systems (MES)
What you’ll need:
  • Experience working in GxP-regulated biologics laboratory and/or manufacturing environments, including experience with lot disposition procedures and cleanroom protocols (ISO Class 5–8 or equivalent)
  • Strong experience hands-on of an ERP MRP system (preferred SAP S/4HANA) configuration and business analysis experience, including MRP type selection, planning runs, and exception message management
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP mobile apps, mobile ERP solutions, and device integration (RF/barcode/QR scanning, label printing)
  • Strong business analysis skills: process mapping, gap analysis, use case authoring, and workshop facilitation
