Mechanical & Plumbing Quality Manager - US, Ohio - 12 Month Contract

Be part of a next-generation pharmaceutical project that’s transforming how medicines are made.

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Mechanical & Plumbing Quality Manager to join the team and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll do:
  • Perform daily walkdowns of mechanical and plumbing systems, with emphasis on process piping and HVAC.
  • Monitor installation quality of contractors, especially less sophisticated mechanical subcontractors, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Review and interpret drawings and specifications to verify installation accuracy.
  • Document findings through formal reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and checklists.
What you’ll need:
  • Extensive mechanical/plumbing quality management in large ground-up construction projects.
  • Strong background in process piping (highest priority system).
  • Extensive understanding of HVAC systems, including quality walks and specification compliance.
  • Ability to read and interpret specs and drawings accurately.

They are currently looking for a Senior CQV Engineer to join their team in Copenhagen.What you'll do: Coordinate Mechanical Completions Line Walks, ensuring readiness for commissioning.Oversee the development and execution of IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, MHRA).Facilitate daily board meetings, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, Operations) to ensure seamless system integration.Manage project documentation, including qualification reports, deviation logs, and risk assessments.
