Works Coordinator - France, Toulouse - Contract

Our client, a global biotechnology organisation, is recruiting for a Works Coordinator to join their capital project in Toulouse. This new build facility will house a therapeutic protein production plant, and we are looking for a Works Coordinator to help expand our client's biotech operations throughout Europe. As the Works Coordinator you will be responsible for implementing all safety requirements for a new build facility, estimated at approximately 14,900m2.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate daily construction activities across multiple contractors, ensuring alignment with the master schedule and site access requirements.
• Ensure construction activities respect GMP boundaries, cleanroom classifications, and contamination-control requirements.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure all contractors adhere to site HSE policies.
• Coordinate daily/weekly planning meetings with contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, process, automation) to ensure readiness of work fronts.

What you’ll need:

• Experience coordinating construction or engineering works in a regulated environment (pharma, biotech, food, medical devices, or similar).
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and contractor management.
• Working knowledge of GMP principles and how construction interacts with regulated operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, permits, and engineering documentation.
