Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor - Stockholm, Sweden - 12 Month Contract 

Our client is currently seeking the skills of a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Our client develops and delivers life changing medicines to millions of people globally and as part of their growth. With their Drug Substance (DS) manufacturing network growing rapidly, they are committed to growing their portfolio of commercial biologics products supplied worldwide and this is your opportunity to be involved!

What you'll do:

• Provide commercial oversight and cost validation during commissioning, acting as the key interface between technical teams, Project Services, and Project Controls.
• Review, challenge, and approve cost estimates, contract awards, and change orders, ensuring alignment across labour, equipment, materials, and subcontractor inputs.
• Support cost control, forecasting, and reporting, contributing to project budgets, variances, and regular cost reports with accurate financial insights.
• Identify, manage, and escalate commercial risks, while overseeing subcontractor performance, financial audits, and contract close-out to ensure full contractual compliance.

What you'll need:

• Proven Quantity Surveying experience with a minimum of 5 years in project cost management
• Strong commercial and technical expertise, including cost analysis, change management, contract law, dispute resolution, and procurement of major equipment and trade packages.
• Experience working with EPCM organisations and delivering new facility builds, with familiarity across both traditional and lean contracting models (e.g., IPD, Target Value Delivery).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage complex commercial challenges and engage effectively across cross-functional teams.
