Procurement Director - US, Ohio - 12 Month Contract

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Procurement Director to join the team and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll do:
  • Own and execute the end-to-end procurement strategy for a $1bn greenfield pharmaceutical manufacturing project.
  • Work closely with construction leadership to ensure procurement decisions directly support buildability, logistics, and site execution.
  • Lead high-value negotiations with EPCMs, construction contractors, and major equipment suppliers.
  • Oversee procurement of complex pharmaceutical process equipment and supporting utility systems.
What you’ll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related discipline (Master’s degree or MBA preferred but not required)
  • Extensive experience leading procurement on large-scale capital projects ($500m ), ideally $1bn greenfield builds.
  • Strong construction acumen with a practical understanding of how procurement decisions impact site execution.
  • Demonstrated experience working with S-curves, cash flow forecasting, and procurement phasing aligned to construction schedules.
