Process Safety Specialist - Denmark, Copenhagen - 12 Month Contract

Our client, a global organisation within the pharmaceutical industry, needs a Process Safety Specialist  to join their large-scale CAPEX project based near Copenhagen. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional in the life sciences sector to advancing their career within a globally recognised pharmaceutical environment.

What you’ll do:

• Risk analysis of high-risk activities, e.g. commissioning scopes, hereunder establishing clear method statements together with system owners
• Facilitation of risk analysis workshops e.g. HAZIDs and HAZOPs
• Be safety lead on walks/pre startup safety reviews of systems in connection with commissioning activities
• Conduct incident investigations

What you’ll need:

• Technical safety / process safety knowledge
• Preferred knowledge of barrier management system (bow tie) methodology
• Experience from highly regulated / high risk industry; Pharma, energy, oil & gas
• Operational background and focus
• Experience from design, construction and commissioning in large projects
