Procurement Manager - France, Toulouse - 3 Months Rolling Contract

Our client, a global biotechnology organisation, is recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join their capital project in Toulouse. This new build facility will house a therapeutic protein production plant, and we are looking for a Procurement Manager to help expand our client's biotech operations throughout Europe. As the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for implementing all safety requirements for a new build facility, estimated at approximately 14,900m2.

What you’ll do:

• Strong seniority in direct people management. The role will have three buyers reporting directly, who require structure and close support in process execution, governance compliance, and communication with various stakeholders.
• Experienced in Global Category Management, with a focus on indirect spend, Facility & Laboratory Services (OPEX & CAPEX). The profile will act as a backup for facility and laboratory equipment CAPEX projects. Must be familiar with complex procurement category governance within a matrix organization (Global vs. Local).
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
• The environment and context are complex and undergoing transformation.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive experience within procurement / buyer roles.
• Extensive management experience preferred
• Experience with Indirect procurement.
