C&Q Engineer – UK, Manchester - 6 Months Initial Contract Our client is currently seeking the skills of a C&Q Engineer to join their team. Our client develops and delivers life changing medicines to millions of people globally and as part of their growth. What you’ll do:
- Support C&Q Strategy, Planning & Coordination Provide technical input to commissioning strategy, participate in construction/commissionability reviews and meetings, track progress against schedule, and escalate risks or delays to the C&Q Lead.
- Manage FAT/SAT & Commissioning Activities Support planning and review of FAT/SAT, execute/witness FATs and commissioning/SAT activities, and provide technical troubleshooting during testing phases.
- Ensure Installation Quality & System Handover Conduct on-site inspections, manage snagging to closure, review supplier handover/RTM documentation, and support acceptance of installation completion for commissioning start-up.
- Deliver Validation & Compliance Documentation Perform Design Qualification, develop and execute IV/OV protocols in line with ALCOA , and produce method statements, risk assessments, and stage-wise C&Q reports.
What you’ll need:
- Strong understanding of the full C&Q lifecycle, including URS, DQ, IV, OV, and PQ stages.
- Extensive experience in Commissioning & Qualification within the pharmaceutical / GMP-regulated environment.
- Working knowledge of ALCOA principles, ensuring compliant documentation preparation and execution.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to meet evolving project schedules and delivery demands.
