Automation Engineer - Technical Curriculum - Ohio - 12 months

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for an Automation Engineer - Technical Curriculum to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.
What you’ll deliver:
- Engineer and configure DeltaV control system architecture, hardware and network infrastructure.
- Develop control modules and automation strategies using function blocks, PID control, SFCs, interlocks and permissives.
- Create and maintain batch solutions in line with ISA-88, including phase logic, equipment modules and recipe development.
- Design DeltaV Live graphics and operator interfaces following ISA-101 best practices.
- Configure field devices and system communications, including industry-standard Ethernet protocols.
- Support commissioning, validation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement projects.
What you’ll need:
- Demonstrated DeltaV v16 (or v15) configuration and engineering experience, including DeltaV Batch (ISA 88) and DeltaV Live Graphics Studio.
- Experience in GMP regulated pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing.
- Instructors with hands on DeltaV engineering credentials, not overview or sales level only.
- Familiarity with GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity (ALCOA+) principles.
- Ability to develop site specific content from customer configuration, recipes, and graphics.
- Ability to comply with Lilly site, safety, and security requirements, including onsite work as required.
