Project Engineer - HVAC Utilities Lead - Ohio - 12 months contract

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Project Engineer to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.

 
What you’ll deliver:

• Serve as the HVAC & Utilities Node Lead for a defined project area.
• Lead all HVAC and utility-related activities from construction through startup, commissioning, qualification, and operational readiness.
• Provide technical leadership for HVAC systems, with a primary focus on startup and commissioning activities.
• Manage cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, CQV, operations, and contractors.
• Coordinate project execution activities, schedules, priorities, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
• Drive issue resolution, field execution, and startup readiness to ensure project milestones are achieved.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive engineering, startup, commissioning, or project execution experience in regulated industrial environments.
• Strong technical expertise with HVAC systems, startup, commissioning, and system performance verification.
• Experience with clean and gray utility systems.
• Proven ability to lead projects or workstreams from design and construction through commissioning and CQV.
