Utilities Engineer – Ireland, Roscommon – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, are looking for a Utilities Engineer to support the delivery their project based in Roscommon. The company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture and marketing of innovative pharmaceutical products to alleviate some of the world’s biggest health problems.

What you’ll deliver:

• As Utilities Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation, compliance, lifecycle management and continuous improvement of Black utility systems within a cGMP environment.
• Monitor, review and update existing system processes and performance to improve efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards or vulnerabilities in utility systems and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring they meet operational requirements and industry standards.
• Lead CQV strategy and execution for black utilities (chilled water, LPHW, steam, compressed air), responsible for development of the maintenance strategy and for setting the handover requirements for black utility systems.

Experience required:

• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
• Extensive experience working directly with industrial plant utilities in heavily regulated (like cGMP) environments.
• Experience supporting construction and commissioning activities on live sites.
• Familiarity with GMP requirements and working in regulated manufacturing facilities.
