Senior Network Engineer

Senior Network Engineer – US, Seattle – Contract –  Life Sciences

Our client, a global biotechnology organisation, is recruiting for a Senior Network Engineer to support their capital project in Seattle. This new build facility will house a therapeutic protein production plant and we are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to help expand our client's biotech operations.

What you’ll deliver:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain FortiGate firewalls across multiple sites
• Manage security policies, NAT, routing, VPNs (IPsec/SSL), and high-availability clusters
• Monitor and tune intrusion prevention (IPS), web filtering, antivirus, and application control
• Design, deploy, and support Aruba wireless networks (Instant or ArubaOS)

Experience required:

• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls
• Solid understanding of Aruba wireless and switching platforms
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Aruba Central, FortiAnalyzer)
• Ability to troubleshoot complex L2/L3 and security issues
• Strong documentation and communication skills
