QC Analyst

QC Analyst – Ireland, Cork – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Our client is undergoing major growth, supported by substantial investment aimed at increasing its overall manufacturing capacity in the medical device sector. Recent upgrades include the development of new, advanced automation systems and additional infrastructure enhancements designed to meet growing global healthcare demands.

With a long‑established presence and a highly skilled workforce, the site requires the role of a QC Analyst to support their project based in Cork.

What you’ll deliver:

• Perform routine sampling of Purified Water (PW), Water for Injection (WFI), clean steam and associated utility systems.
• Conduct microbiological and/or chemical analysis of water samples in accordance with approved procedures.
• Support routine environmental monitoring activities where required.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records in compliance with GMP requirements.
• Review and trend analytical data, highlighting any out-of-specification (OOS) or out-of-trend (OOT) results.

Experience required:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or a related scientific discipline.
• Previous experience working within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or healthcare environment.
• Hands-on experience with water sampling activities, including purified water and associated utility systems.
• Knowledge of GMP regulations and quality standards.
• Strong documentation and data review skills.
