Process Engineer – US, Ohio – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Be part of a next-generation pharmaceutical project that’s transforming how medicines are made.

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Process Engineer to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll deliver:
  • Develop an understanding of assigned process equipment or utility systems, including their operating principles, intended use and potential hazards.
  • Review engineering drawings, equipment information and operating documentation to support system safety assessments.
  • Conduct field inspections during equipment installation and preparation for commissioning and startup.
  • Work with engineers, equipment suppliers and subject matter experts to identify hazards and establish appropriate corrective actions.
  • Assess system readiness before activation, including the introduction of air or other utilities, in accordance with the project safety programme.
What you’ll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Relevant process, manufacturing or utility systems engineering experience in an industrial environment.
  • Practical experience with at least one of the following: manufacturing process equipment or industrial utility systems, including associated piping and valves.
  • Direct involvement in at least one equipment or system installation, commissioning, qualification or startup project, with the ability to explain your personal responsibilities.
