They create the tools and resources for their customers requirement to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams.
To support our client’s continued growth, they are currently looking to hire an Operational Excellence Manager based in Amsterdam.
What you’ll do:
- Drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and process mapping to optimise operations, supply chain, maintenance, and incident response; conduct audits, root-cause analyses, and post implementation reviews.
- Develop global KPIs, dashboards, SOPs/EOPs/MOPs, and training programs; implement automation, AI/ML for predictive maintenance, and PDCA cycles for continuous uptime.
- Oversee budgeting, vendor relations, construction commissioning, risk/compliance (ISO, SOC, ESG), and cross-site standardisation; advise on capex/opex efficiencies and customer SLAs.
- Lead cross-functional teams, foster a culture of excellence, and report to executives on metrics like OEE, scrap/rework reduction, and financial impacts.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's/Master's in engineering (electrical/mechanical); PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, or PE license preferred; extensive experience in critical facilities and leadership.
- Proficiency in DCIM/CMMS tools, BMS, data analytics, ERP; deep knowledge of MEP systems (UPS, gensets, chillers, HVAC), regulatory standards, and hyperscale topologies.
- Strategic mindset for innovation (digital twins, sustainability); excellent stakeholder management across regions/time zones, matching your multisite experience.
- Prior Data Centre experience in a similar role is required for this position
