Logistics PM - US, Virginia - 12-24 Month Contract

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Virginia, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Logistics PM to join the team and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll do:

• Drive Project Progression – Needs to know what is expected for this role so they can push design and completion milestone.
• Take direct ownership of the logistics facility scope and drive day-to-day progress across all related workstreams.
• Coordinate with all disciplines attached to the building to ensure alignment, accountability, and forward momentum.
• Drive project progression by ensuring teams are working effectively toward project scope, milestones, and delivery objectives.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field; PMP certification preferred.
• Previous experience in the delivery of large logistics packages in a highly regulated industry.
• Proficiency in commonly used project management tools (scheduling-P6/MS Project, metrics, risk management) and MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Excellent teamwork abilities and willingness to take on responsibilities beyond the traditional project manager role.
