Estimator - US, Ohio - 12 Month Contract

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Estimator to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

What you'll do:

• Develop detailed cost estimates from concept through detailed design for major scopes of work (CSA, MEP, process utilities, process equipment installation).
• Review engineering deliverables (P&IDs, equipment lists, GA drawings) to identify scope and validate quantities for take-offs.
• Benchmark and validate estimates against historical data from large CAPEX projects ($500M ).
• Support the procurement team with cost input for bid evaluations, tender comparisons, and vendor negotiations.
• Track and report estimate variances, escalation, and contingency requirements in line with project controls.

What you'll need:

• BS in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Requires extensive estimating experience on large-scale capital projects (>$500M).
• Demonstrated experience on projects in pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotech, food manufacturing, semiconductor, or other highly regulated/complex industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of process equipment, clean utilities, and regulated facility construction.
• Proficiency with industry-standard estimating tools (e.g., Aspen Capital Cost Estimator, Sage, or equivalent).
