Contracts Manager - US, Ohio - 12 Months Initial Contract

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Contracts Manager to join the team and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll do:
  • Lead the administration and oversight of construction contracts, including general conditions and select trade/service contracts.
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle from award through execution, change management, and close-out.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters between the owner’s team, EPCM partner, and contractors.
  • Review, negotiate, and finalize contract documents, amendments, and change orders.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with contractual obligations, deliverables, and key milestones.
What you’ll need:
  • Extensive experience managing contracts on large capital projects ($250m ), preferably in the pharmaceutical or industrial sector.
  • Proven success in contract management roles within EPCM or owner’s representative delivery models.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, general conditions, scopes of work, and commercial terms.
  • Experience with change order negotiation, claims management, and performance enforcement.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and drive accountability across teams.
