Construction System Owner - Mechanical - US, Ohio - 12 Month Contract

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Construction System Owner to join the team and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver compliant, high-quality mechanical, piping, and HVAC installations ready for Mechanical Completion, pre-startup checks, commissioning, and turnover.
• Maintain accurate quality oversight of mechanical works completed, open issues, risks, contractor performance, and documentation status.
• Ensure mechanical execution is sequenced in line with the project schedule and aligned with area occupancy, commissioning, and turnover requirements.
• Support testing, verification, system readiness, and turnover readiness for mechanical systems.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
• Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and relevant U.S. mechanical, HVAC, safety, and construction codes and standards.
• Strong understanding of International Mechanical Code, International Energy Conservation Code, ASHRAE standards, NFPA standards, OSHA requirements, and applicable safety, efficiency, and environmental standards.
• Extensive field experience delivering mechanical, HVAC, piping, or mechanical utility systems on large pharmaceutical, GMP, industrial, or complex capital projects.
• Strong field-based experience overseeing installation of HVAC systems supporting cleanroom or controlled environments, including air handling units, ductwork, chillers, mechanical utilities, and associated equipment.
