OT Engineer

OT Engineer (Automation Engineer-Cyber Security)- Ireland - 10 Month Contract

Our client is a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry. Due to continued expansion, significant capital project investment, and ongoing growth across their manufacturing portfolio, they are now seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join their state-of-the-art facility in Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing projects within a world-class organisation.

What you’ll do:

• Support execution of the OT Cybersecurity Remediation Program, including vulnerability remediation and patching activities
• Drive site-level implementation of cyber security controls and best practices for OT systems
• Define and implement structured backup and restore strategies for OT systems
• Execute and document disaster recovery (DR) tests for critical automation systems
• Improve system recoverability and audit readiness in line with project goals

What you’ll need:

• Extensive experience in automation engineering in GMP manufacturing environment
• Strong experience in OT systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI, infrastructure)
• OT Cyber Security / remediation programs
• Automation platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Wonderware, iFix)
• Understanding of OT architectures and industrial networks
• Knowledge of: GAMP5, ISA/IEC standards, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, GxP / QA requirements
