Electromechanical Development Engineer

Electromechanical Development Engineer - Ireland, Cork - 12 Month Contract 

Our client is a leading multinational medical technology company based near Cork, specialising in the design, manufacture, and distribution of innovative healthcare devices and surgical products. What you'll do:

• Support evaluation of technical, operational, regulatory, and commercial feasibility for future electromechanical device development
• Assess equipment, facility, process, and resource requirements
• Identify manufacturability and Design-for-Manufacture (DfM) opportunities
• Evaluate potential process and development risks
• Support strategic planning for future console and handpiece programmes
• Work independently within a cross-functional transformation team

What you'll need: 

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline
• Strong experience in electronics/electromechanical assembly or development environments
• Working knowledge of electrical design process, electrical components, and manufacturing methods
• Ability to interpret, analyse, and test electrical designs
• Proven ability to work independently and drive technical initiatives
• Medical device industry experience advantageous
