Biosafety SME - US, Ohio - 12 Month Contract

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Biosafety SME to join the team and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll do:

• Build and manage biosafety programs that support gene therapy, cell therapy, and BSL-2 manufacturing operations.
• Develop and maintain biosafety policies, procedures, and standards to ensure regulatory compliance and safe operations.
• Conduct biosafety risk assessments for processes, equipment, materials, and operational changes.
• Provide subject matter expertise related to biological hazards, containment strategies, and exposure prevention measures.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred (flexible for strong experience)
• Extensive biosafety experience required.
• Direct biosafety experience supporting manufacturing operations.
• Experience limited to academic, research, university, or R&D laboratory settings will not be considered sufficient unless accompanied by significant manufacturing experience.
• Proven experience developing and implementing biosafety programs, procedures, and standards.
