Packaging Engineer – Ireland, Cork – 3 Year Contract – Life Sciences

Located in Ireland, our client is investing in a major state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and seeking a Packaging Engineer. As a global leader in its sector, the company combines innovation, advanced technology, and world-class engineering to deliver food products to markets worldwide. This is a unique opportunity to support a flagship greenfield project and play a key role in the delivery and start-up of a next-generation production site.

What you’ll deliver:

• Support the installation, integration, commissioning, and qualification of aseptic/ESL filling systems, ensuring safe and compliant start-up activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, EPCM partners, and OEM suppliers to deliver packaging systems aligned with project requirements.
• Assist with troubleshooting, performance testing, documentation, and operational readiness activities to ensure successful handover to production teams.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive engineering experience in food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, or nutrition manufacturing.
• Proven track record leading CAPEX or greenfield/brownfield industrial projects.
• Strong exposure to aseptic/ESL filling and high-hygiene packaging technologies.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and external engineering partners.
• Sherpa qualified preferred.
