Automation Program Manager – US, Ohio – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences Be part of a next-generation pharmaceutical project that’s transforming how medicines are made.
We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for an Automation Program Manager to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.
What you’ll deliver:
- Establish and maintain program governance, including coordination forums, action and decision logs, risk registers, dependency tracking and escalation pathways.
- Build and maintain dashboards showing cross-functional milestones, progress, dependencies, roadblocks and operational readiness status.
- Facilitate recurring meetings and readiness reviews, converting discussions into documented actions, decisions and issues with accountable owners and target dates.
- Track system onboarding, infrastructure and network readiness, automation platform deployment and non-PLC Vendor Packaged Equipment readiness.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant technical experience.
- Extensive project management experience delivering technical, engineering, infrastructure, automation or manufacturing projects.
- Personally managed at least one automation, computerized system or IT/OT deployment project, covering planning, deployment and readiness or handover.
- Managed at least three concurrent technical workstreams within one project or program, tracking milestones and dependencies across engineering, IT/infrastructure and operations teams.
