Senior GC Project Manager – Global Pharmaceutical Company - Ohio

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Senior GC Project Manager to join the team and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and manage assigned general construction scope across the site node, including civil, structural, architectural, building, enabling works, logistics, temporary works, site infrastructure and associated construction packages.
• Act as the senior construction interface between Lilly, general contractors, trade contractors, design teams, project controls, procurement, safety, quality, CQV and senior project leadership.
• Take ownership of a large and complex body of construction work, breaking it down into clear priorities, work fronts, action plans and delivery milestones.
• Drive construction readiness by ensuring that design information, permits, materials, equipment, access, temporary works, manpower, tools, safety plans and required documentation are available ahead of field execution.
• Review and challenge construction execution plans, contractor work packages, sequencing plans, lookahead schedules, manpower plans, productivity assumptions, site logistics and recovery plans.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive experience in construction management, project management, field leadership or general contracting on major capital projects.
• Strong background working for, or directly managing, large general contractors.
• Experience managing major civil, structural, architectural, building, infrastructure or multi-discipline construction scopes.
• Strong understanding of how large GC-led construction projects are planned, sequenced, resourced and delivered.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors, trade partners, work packages and field interfaces at the same time.
