Design & Construction Interface lead – Global Pharmaceutical Company - Ohio

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Design & Construction Interface lead to join the team and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll do:
  • Act as the primary technical interface between design, construction, CQV, operations and project leadership for Tank Farm, Solvent Recovery and associated process/utility systems.
  • Represent the client in coordination with A&E partners, engineering teams, construction contractors, equipment vendors, CQV teams, operations stakeholders and site leadership.
  • Review, interpret and challenge technical deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment layouts, piping layouts, utility requirements, process calculations, equipment data sheets, specifications, RFQ packages, construction drawings and tie-in documentation.
  • Ensure design intent is properly translated into field execution and that construction activities remain aligned with process, equipment, safety, quality, CQV and operational readiness expectations.
What you’ll need:
  • Experience in process engineering, equipment engineering, project engineering, technical leadership, construction support or client-side project delivery on major capital projects.
  • Strong experience supporting pharmaceutical, API, biopharmaceutical, chemical, petrochemical, heavy industrial, solvent handling or tank farm projects.
  • Proven experience acting as a client-side technical representative, owner’s engineer or senior interface lead between engineering partners, construction teams, vendors and operations.
  • Strong understanding of process systems, tank farms, solvent handling, utilities, piping, equipment installation, construction execution and commissioning/qualification interfaces.
