Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer - US, Ohio - 12 Month Contract Be part of a next-generation pharmaceutical project that’s transforming how medicines are made.
We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join the team and help deliver this world-class program.
What you’ll do:
- Represent the Owner in overseeing all electrical installations including power distribution, lighting, low-voltage communication systems, grounding, and fire alarms.
- Ensure compliance with design specifications, codes (NEC, NFPA, OSHA), and quality/safety standards.
- Attend field trade coordination meetings to resolve design & constructability issues.
- Document construction issues, raise RFIs, log plan deviations, and ensure corrective actions are tracked in the project documentation system.
- Monitor progress, align electrical installation with milestone schedule, and flag potential slippages.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline (preferred).
- Extensive experience in electrical field engineering or construction oversight on large-scale CAPEX projects.
- Prior experience in highly regulated industries (pharma, biotech) preferred.
- Sound understanding of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and pharmaceutical safety standards.
- Hands-on with power distribution, lighting, LV systems, and integration in greenfield
environments.
