Our client delivers cutting-edge projects for data centres worldwide. This is your chance to work with an innovative, market-leading company as their newest Electrical Commissioning Engineer.

What you’ll do:

• Commission electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, motors, protection systems, control panels, and LV/MV/HV equipment.
• Perform functional testing, calibration, loop checks, and verification of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Review engineering drawings (SLDs, wiring diagrams, schematics) and ensure installations match design intent.
• Develop commissioning procedures, test plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during commissioning, coordinating with design, construction, and vendor teams.

What you’ll need:

• Strong understanding of electrical power systems, protection relays, and industrial automation.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, SLDs, P&IDs, and control logic.
• Proficiency with testing equipment (multimeters, insulation testers, relay test sets, power analysers).
• Knowledge of IEC, BS, IEEE, and NFPA standards.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
