Design Manager

Design Manager - UK, London - Permanent Contract

Our client, a high performing Data Centre developer, is looking for a Design Manager to help assist their progress on a project based in London.

What you'll do:

• Provide design and engineering expertise and direction for projects from the development stage (RIBA stage 0) to customer occupation (RIBA stage 6).
• Prepare weekly reports for projects or workstreams detailing progress, challenges and successes to the Design and Engineering Director.
• The design manager shall be the lead authority for the external technical teams working on a project, ensuring the Basis of Design or project brief are incorporated.

What you'll need:

• Experience in CSA (Civil, Structures and Architectural) OR / AND MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing).
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Civil or relevant Engineering discipline.
• Extensive experience in data centre engineering or a similar role in mission-critical environments (e.g., hospitals, telecom).
• Proven track record for designing and overseeing the construction of data centre or mission critical infrastructure.
