Cost Controller - US, Ohio - 12 Month Contract

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Cost Controller to join the team and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll do:

• Support the management and resolution of commercial issues, contract matters, change orders, and cost impacts through formal project change management procedures and client PCR logs.
• Work closely with Project Managers to review, categorize, and manage node-related change management activities in accordance with client contracts and EPCM commercial frameworks.
• Analyze, track, and report project allowances and commercial spend for inclusion within monthly project cost reports and leadership reporting packages.
• Assist in the preparation, negotiation, and agreement of final accounts, including evaluation and management of contractor claims, variations, and commercial settlements.
• Monitor project spend, commitments, accruals, forecasts, and cost performance across assigned project scopes and work packages.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive cost control, commercial, project controls, or quantity surveying experience on large-scale capital projects.
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, chemical, industrial, energy, or regulated manufacturing projects preferred.
• Strong experience supporting construction-phase project execution and EPCM environments.
• Experience managing change orders, contractor claims, commercial reporting, and earned value activities on major projects.
