Construction Manager – Italy – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Our global client with is currently investing significantly in their manufacturing programme. This state-of-the-art facility houses high-technology and next-generation processes to produce products that are distributed throughout the Globe. As such, they are looking for a Construction Manager to support their project based in Italy.

What you’ll deliver:

• Provide hands-on, owner-side construction management and day-to-day site oversight across major capital projects.
• Coordinate EPC contractors, General Contractors and subcontractors, driving construction workflow, progress and delivery against project milestones.
• Monitor construction activities against scope, schedule, quality, safety and site requirements, resolving field issues, contractor interfaces and execution risks.
• Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, EHS, Quality, CQV and Operations to support construction readiness, completion, turnover and transition into commissioning and qualification.

Desirable Experience:

• Significant experience as a Construction Manager / Construction Lead delivering major CAPEX, new-build or facility expansion projects.
• Strong hands-on site construction experience with proven responsibility for managing EPC contractors, General Contractors, subcontractors and multiple construction disciplines.
• Strong construction safety leadership, contractor performance management and the ability to coordinate complex site activities within safety-led and regulated project environments.
• Pharmaceutical/GMP experience preferred but not essential, with transferable experience from Data Centres, Oil & Gas, Energy, Chemicals or other complex industrial environments accepted. Fluent Italian and strong English communication skills required.
