Site Selection & Colocation Manager - Remote - Data Centres - Permanent

What you’ll do:

• Lead end-to-end site selection for new data center facilities, including market assessments and feasibility studies.
• Maintain market intelligence on emerging regions, energy markets, and colocation pricing.
• Coordinate technical and environmental due diligence, assessing infrastructure availability and scalability.
• Ensure sites meet mechanical, electrical, and network resilience requirements.
• Identify and evaluate colocation providers; manage RFPs, negotiations, and contracts.
• Oversee colocation lifecycle, including renewals, expansions, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with design, construction, legal, finance, and permitting teams to validate feasibility and compliance.
• Support financial modeling, ROI analysis, and business case development.
• Assess risks related to natural hazards, security, and utility reliability; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain documentation for audits, reporting, and internal approvals.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Business, Geography, or related field.
• Extensive experience in site selection, real estate development, colocation management, or data center infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of data center power, cooling, and network requirements.
• Proven ability to evaluate colocation providers and negotiate leases/SLAs.
• Analytical skills in market research, cost modeling, and risk assessment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across regions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
