Senior Manager – UK, Liverpool – Initial 12-Month Contract – Life Sciences  

Our client is a global biopharmaceutical company manufacturing plasma-derived, and recombination therapeutic products, who in turn deliver high-quality medicines that treat people with rare and serious diseases, and we are now searching on an exclusive basis with the client to appoint a Senior Manager to support their busy and rewarding team on a contractual basis for a period of 12 months.

What you’ll deliver:

• Co-lead global consolidation activities for Vifor entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting under IFRS and Group reporting requirements across HFM/Hyperion and Finance Core.
• Lead the Account-to-Report team in the preparation, review and filing of statutory financial statements.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a high-performance and continuous improvement culture.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment across the Vifor Account-to-Report and consolidation processes and support remediation of identified control weaknesses and process risks.

Key requirements include: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification required.
• Extensive experience in financial accounting, consolidation, statutory reporting and audit.
• Proven experience leading finance teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Experience with consolidation systems preferred (experience working with SAP, HFM/Hyperion desirable)
