Program Manager (Electronics) - Ireland, Cork - 12 Month Contract
Our client is a multinational medical technology organisation with a significant manufacturing presence in Ireland. The site specialises in the large‑scale manufacture of complex, regulated electromechanical products, supported by robust quality systems and strict regulatory compliance. The business maintains a strong commitment to operational excellence, supply chain performance, and continuous improvement.
What you'll do:
- Own full program lifecycle including NPI (New Product Introduction), prototyping, pilot builds, and high-volume production ramp.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Production to meet program milestones.
- Define and document detailed customer requirements, technical specifications, and manufacturing constraints, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain integrated program schedules, ensuring synchronisation between design, procurement, assembly, and test phases.
What you'll need:
- Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive program/project management experience, with a preference for Medical device or electronic assembly or EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) environments.
- Proven experience managing NPI and production programs for electronic products, including PCBA and system-level assembly.
- Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, including SMT, through-hole assembly, testing (ICT, functional), and box build.
