Spare Parts / Materials Assistant - US, North Carolina - 12 Month ContractOur client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing organization are looking for a talented Spare Parts / Materials Assistant to join their expanding team. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs this is an extremely exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States. What you'll do:
Work with construction, startup, and commissioning teams to identify, catalog, and track required spare parts and critical materials for new equipment.Assist with developing Scope of Work (SOW) documents for vendor-supplied parts, pursuing RFPs, and clarifying technical questions between vendors and engineering teams.Assist with vendor onboarding, specifically focusing on the logistics of material delivery, storage, and handling.Follow up on material submittals, vendor document control, and send reminders to responsible parties to ensure parts arrive to support commissioning schedules.
What you'll need:
Degree preferred but not required; Certification in project management or a related field.Extensive experience in materials management, spare parts coordination, or similar assistant manager role.Extensive experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnologies, or similar regulated industry.Extensive experience with procurement processes, such as PO creation, RFPs, and basic material tracking.
