Packaging Engineer – Amsterdam – Initial 2 Year Contract – Life Sciences

Our client is a global leader in pharmaceutical innovation, specialising in the development and manufacture of cutting-edge drugs. As they continue to grow, they’re seeking an experienced Packaging Engineer to support their dynamic team and drive forward groundbreaking projects in Amsterdam.

What you’ll deliver:

• Responsible for non-qualified and qualified Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS) within the manufacturing environment.
• Work closely with Digital teams responsible for Automation, Manufacturing IT, Infrastructure, and Operational Technology systems, as well as vendors and implementation partners responsible for system delivery.
• Support digital transformation and site automation initiatives across production, utilities, laboratories, and warehouse facilities.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive experience in a similar role, ideally within Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences industries.
• Demonstrated experience with BAS and EMS in regulated GMP environments.
• Experience with Siemens Desigo CC, WinCC, Insight, Xworks and/or PX Controllers.
• Utility systems experience including chilled water, heating systems, steam generation, compressed air, HVAC, and clean utilities.
