Microbiology Lab Team Lead - West Coast of Ireland - 12 Month Contract

Are you looking for the opportunity to work alongside a global pharmaceutical organisation in the West Coast of Ireland? Our esteemed client is looking for a Microbiology Lab Team Lead join their team in their existing manufacturing facility.

The facility is a responsible for tablet manufacturing (OSD) and secondary packaging (blister packing and bottle primarily for tablets and capsules), and our client is looking for a Microbiology Lab Team Lead to help maintain manufacturing operations.

What you'll do:

• Lead and manage the day to day operations of the QC Microbiology laboratory
• Oversee microbiological testing including environmental monitoring, sterility, and bioburden testing
• Drive investigations including deviations, OOS, and CAPA in line with GMP requirements
• Collaborate cross functionally with QA, manufacturing, and engineering teams

What you'll need:

• Degree in Microbiology or related Life Sciences discipline
• Extensive experience in a GMP regulated microbiology or QC laboratory
• Hands on experience with microbiological testing and investigations
• Previous leadership experience or strong senior ready to step into a team lead role
