Microbiology Lab Manager

Microbiology Lab Manager - West Coast of Ireland - 12 Month Contract 

Are you looking for the opportunity to work alongside a global pharmaceutical organisation in the West Coast of Ireland? Our esteemed client is looking for a Microbiology Lab Manager to join their team in their existing manufacturing facility.

The facility is a responsible for tablet manufacturing (OSD) and secondary packaging (blister packing and bottle primarily for tablets and capsules), and our client is looking for a Microbiology Lab Manager to help maintain manufacturing operations.

What you'll do:

• Lead and manage day-to-day microbiology laboratory operations within a GMP environment
• Oversee environmental monitoring, sterility and microbiological testing activities
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain audit readiness
• Manage, develop, and performance lead a team of microbiology analysts

What you'll need:

• Strong experience in a GMP regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environment
• Proven leadership experience within a microbiology or QC laboratory
• Hands-on expertise in microbiological techniques such as EM, sterility, and endotoxin
• Experience managing deviations, CAPAs, and supporting regulatory inspections
