EHS Manager

EHS Manager – US, Virginia – Initial 3-Month Contract – Data Centers

Our client is a global data centre leader that works with the world’s biggest tech companies to deliver reliable and sustainable infrastructure.

The business has secured major investment and is entering an exciting growth phase. They’re now looking for an EHS Manager who wants to be part of new projects, expanding capacity and driving high‑performance mechanical systems.

What you’ll deliver:

• Routinely monitor the client’s EHS performance to ensure contractors are in compliance with written EHS plans, policies, procedures, practices, government regulatory requirements, and any additional client expectations or deliverables that have been identified in the contract
• Ensure compliance and implementation of EHS guidelines that may exceed regulatory requirements
• Interface and support the client’s Project Management team by presenting current data on contractor’s EHS performance, including trending, incident investigation and management, EHS metrics and other key information that enable the PM to make informed timely decisions
• Participate in daily EHS inspections of an active data center construction project with the EHS Safety Manager to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements as well as life safety requirements

Experience required:

• Extensive construction experience with majority experience in leading EHS in data center or heavy industrial construction projects.
• High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information, excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy
• Self-directed and driven to deliver with quality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting information to leadership.
• Excellent problem-solving skills; self-driven to develop quick, control measures
