Mechanical Lead – Milan, Italy – Initial 6-Month Contract – Data Centres

Join a rapidly expanding global data centre operator. Supported by significant investment and partnered with some of the most innovative names in tech, this company is growing and looking for an experienced Mechanical Lead to support their project in Milan.

What you’ll do:

• Lead mechanical construction, remediation and upgrade activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders to drive progress and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks, delays and mitigation actions.
• Support testing, commissioning, QA/QC processes and final handover of mechanical systems

What you’ll need:

• Proven experience delivering mechanical packages on large-scale data centre, mission-critical or industrial projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and subcontractor coordination experience.
• Good understanding of commissioning, QA/QC, remediation and defect resolution processes.  
• Relevant mechanical engineering qualification or trade background with expertise in HVAC and critical mechanical systems.
