Design Manager – Brussels, Belgium – Permanent – Data Centres –  €60,000-€100,000

Our client is seeking a Design Manager to join their large scale project based in Belgium. 

What you’ll deliver:

• Managing the scope of work, the design budget and contract documentation for each project.
• Preparing, monitoring and updating the design schedule, and efficiently allocating tasks within the team.
• Coordinating design activities between the Belgian team and international project teams, playing a connecting role within the MCF hub.
• Coordinating and optimising designs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and external parties.
• Leading, reviewing and challenging design decisions and design changes.

Experience required:

• Hold a master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Strong experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary design and engineering projects, preferably within data centres, industrial buildings or other complex built environments.
• Proven experience in leading design teams and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, such as engineers, consultants, contractors and clients.
• You are familiar with digital and automated design and engineering processes, including 3D design and BIM environments (such as BIM360).
