Design Manager

Design Manager - UK, London - 12 Month Contract  

This is your opportunity to work for a global data centre operator that has been recognised for as one of fastest growing and well-known groups in the industry.

Having received significant investment, this established data centre group is in their next phase of growth and require the expertise of a Design Manager. They have established partnerships with many of the well-known technology powerhouses and tailor to their development to their client's requirements.  

What you'll do:

• Lead development and improvement of design standards and specifications.
• Oversee procurement and vendor selection, ensuring value engineering and compliance.
• Drive process improvements and manage design changes across teams.
• Ensure quality, risk mitigation, and adherence to codes and customer requirements.
• Mentor design teams and foster a culture of excellence.

What you'll need:

• Degree in construction management, building services engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of critical cooling and power infrastructure.
• Familiarity with European construction markets and building codes.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
