Our client is currently seeking the skills of Construction Manager to support their team. Our client develops and delivers life changing medicines to millions of people globally and as part of their growth. With their Drug Substance (DS) manufacturing network growing rapidly, they are committed to growing their portfolio of commercial biologics products supplied worldwide – and this is your opportunity to be involved!

What you’ll deliver:

• Provide SHE leadership, assurance, and subject matter expertise across construction projects, ensuring compliance with legal, corporate, and site-specific safety requirements.
• Monitor and manage contractor SHE performance through audits, inspections, worker engagements, and review of construction phase safety plans and programmes.
• Lead incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking, ensuring lessons learned are communicated and embedded across projects.
• Develop SHE performance reporting and dashboards, support project teams in strengthening safety leadership capabilities, and collaborate with contractors and site stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

Experience required:

• Proven experience in Construction SHE (Safety, Health & Wellbeing) leadership within large-scale pharmaceutical, biotech, or industrial capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction health and safety legislation, contractor management, incident investigation, and compliance assurance.
• Experience conducting site audits, inspections, worker engagement programmes, and SHE performance monitoring across complex construction environments.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive a proactive safety culture, continuous improvement initiatives, and SHE best practices throughout project delivery.
