Our client is currently seeking the skills of a Construction Health and Safety Coordinator to join their team. What you'll be doing:
- Act as the Construction Health, Safety & Wellbeing SME, providing assurance, guidance and oversight across multiple construction projects.
- Monitor contractor HSE performance, ensuring competent resources, compliant Construction Phase Plans, and adherence to all relevant legal and site requirements.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, worker engagements and incident investigations, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support safety leadership, reporting, stakeholder collaboration, and the promotion of a strong health, safety and wellbeing culture across project teams.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Building Services, or a related technical discipline.
- Extensive experience within HVAC, Cleanroom or CQV environments, ideally supporting pharmaceutical, biotech, or other highly regulated facilities.
- Proven Construction Health & Safety experience on major capital projects, with strong knowledge of relevant HSE legislation, contractor management, and compliance requirements.
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH, WSH Certificate/Diploma, IOSH or equivalent), with the ability to lead audits, site inspections and incident investigations.
