 UI/UX Developer – 11 Month Contract (Possible Extensions) – Remote

Our client, an international IT service provider, is seeking a UI/UX Developer to join them as a contractor, with the option to work fully remote from any European location or onsite at their office in Valencia, Spain. This will be an initial 11 month contract running from February to December 2025 but it will have the potential to extend longer.

As UI/UX Developer, you will work alongside mobile developers and systems engineers to design mobile and web apps in addition to supporting ongoing projects of mobile web solutions. Single stage Teams interviews will take place in January 2025 for onboarding soon after.


UI/ UX Developer Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with designers, developer, product owners and testers to shape human-centred user experiences.
  • Create user flows and wireframes to build user interface mock-ups and prototypes of apps.
  • Apply human-centred design to understand user needs, advocating for them and ensuring that the final product matchers their needs by user-testing your ideas.
  • Provide the technical team with the necessary artefacts, assets and templates.
    • Provide guidelines to developer on the implementation and changes of user interfaces, following project specific and generic design and usability requirements.
    • Conduct User research, and Usability testing including knowledge on User Interface, Material Design.
    • Prepare the necessary project related technical documentation.
 

UI/ UX Developer required Skills and Experience:
  • BSc degree in Graphic Design, UX/UI, Visual Communication, or equivalent work experience (desirable).
  • Experience in the design of web application and public sites, mobile and responsive application design.
  • Experience in researching and user testing.
  • Experience using current UX/UI design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch or Zeplin.
    • Must have a working knowledge of applications development and technical architecture.
  • 3 years of experience working in the graphic design or UX/UI field.
  • Strong English communication skills (Spanish or French will be a bonus)
