Senior Electrical Engineer - Antwerp - 6-Month Contract

Responsibilities: 
  • Designing and realising the installation;
  • during the design you process all input from the stakeholders for the detailed elaboration you send an external engineering agency
  • Conduct technical discussions with suppliers: drawing up technical specifications, competitions, orders and follow-up of deliveries.
  • In consultation with your project manager you prepare a cost estimate and a schedule
  • Monitoring the execution of the works
  • Monitoring the scope and budget and ensuring that the timing is maintained
  • Actively participate in the selection and implementation of protections, checking operating description
  • Actively carry out pre-commissioning testing of the installation at start-up and support with functional testing

Requirements: 
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong Knowledge of electricity, electrical networks, instrumentation, PLC controls, power electronics, industrial communication networks, PL/SIL
  • Experience with end-to-end responsibility of electrical installations
  • Experience with performing cable calculations, Knowledge of caneco is a plus
  • Experience with electrical drawing packages is a plus
  • Good knowledge of Dutch
  • Has experience with MS Office.
  • Can work independently and determine priorities
  • Assertive, communicative and results-oriented.
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Methodology/Certification requirements?
  • Has obtained at least a bachelor's degree with a specialisation or affinity in electricity or electromechanics.
