Project Planner - Illinois - Life Sciences - 12-month contract

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Planner to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Illinois, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.


Responsibilities:
  • Project Scheduling:
    • Create high-level and detailed schedules for both project and operational readiness activities.
    • Integrate ongoing equipment qualification activities for parenteral equipment (filling, equipment prep, and formulation) into the project schedule.
    • Ensure the project schedule covers asset readiness through PV (Process Validation).
  • Resource Mobilization:
    • Quickly mobilize resources based on project needs and stakeholder feedback.
    • Develop a mobilization plan for resources, ensuring all required personnel are available and prepared.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
    • Work closely with key stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure all project and operational readiness activities are aligned.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Prepare and submit detailed project schedules and operational readiness schedules.
    • Maintain accurate records of all project activities, including any changes to the project scope.
    • Provide monthly reports on spend to date vs. overall budget.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Extensive experience in scheduling and project management within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, particularly in parenteral manufacturing.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in project scheduling software and tools.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Ability to quickly mobilize resources and develop comprehensive schedules.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
