Procurement - Pharmaceuticals - San Juan - 12-Month Contract 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.


Responsibilities:
  • Lead the procurement of services and materials for large-scale capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and awards.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, legal, finance) to streamline procurement activities and ensure all processes meet cGMP and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee service contract performance, manage risk, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and budget constraints.
  • Handle vendor disputes, negotiate change orders, and resolve issues related to service delivery or contract terms.
  • Ensure procurement activities align with CAPEX budgeting and project timelines, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8 + years of experience in procurement, with a focus on managing service contracts and CAPEX projects in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex service contracts and manage vendor performance.
  • Familiarity with cGMP and FDA regulations, ensuring compliance in all procurement processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to align procurement with large-scale project objectives.
