WTG Offshore Installation Manager - Offshore Wind - UK 

Do you want to work with a world leader in offshore wind? This opportunity is currently available to an Instillation Manager to join our client’s newest project based in London. They are a long-standing market leader in the industry owning and developing projects across all major and emerging offshore wind markets, offering fantastic career opportunities for all contractors who join.

Requirements:
  • Supervising work offshore for short spells
  • Assisting in the back office with various tasks related to the work scope such as developing contracts, scope supervision 
  • Reviewing or developing offshore installation schedules.

To succeed in the role, the consultant has:
  • Great numeracy skills and a logical mind. High level of fluency in speaking and writing English, although it does not have to be your first language
  • Good knowledge of the wind turbine installation vessel market and the most common installation concepts
  • Understand how to achieve safe and high-quality construction or engineering project outcomes
  • Great communication skills and are able to liaise and cooperate with both colleagues and counterparts from our suppliers
  • A degree or equivalent in naval architecture, mechanical engineering, marine engineering, or equivalent
  • Some experience of managing offshore installation scopes, similar construction scopes and/or including drafting contract specifications for heavy lifting, deck layout, and vessel mobilisation
  • Are bright, curious, and original and thrive within a team and as a leader
